This may seem like an onerous task, but there are some very simple do’s and don’ts which you only pick up by watching the professionals at work. What sort of makeup works under studio lighting? When do accessories add to a shot and when do they take it over? Just by being in the presence of established stylists and watching them at work you learn more than you ever could reading a stack of books on the subject.
Professional models
Professional models establish their professional reputation not simply for the way that they look, but the way that they enable great pictures. Almost without instruction, they understand how to own a space, how to present a certain image and how to adopt certain alluring poses that can transform an image. Again, by working with true professionals you will learn more about poses that work for glamour than by reading a pile of books on the subject. You will also learn how to interact with models, provide clear instruction, and ensure a relaxed atmosphere.
