They know the business inside out, and use their skills in consultation with you to get the very best photographic results.
Shoot from the hip
The consultation process benefits everyone. No one knows more about what suits you than you do, and your London glamour photographer and stylist will want to know about the styles and poses you feel comfortable with. They may also have some ideas you’ve never considered but may want to try, as you push your boundaries a little. It is the job of a London glamour photographer, after all, to show you in a new light.
Pre-shoot fine tuning
Your shoot team can’t be there every step of the way however. Some of the preparation has to be done alone. There are a few simple things you can do in the days leading up to your shoot to ensure you get to the studio in tip-top shape and ready to shine.
Drink plenty of water in the week before your shoot. It is the most natural detox, and promotes a clear, healthy complexion. At the same time, cut down on the caffeine and alcohol. They have the opposite effect, and alcohol in particular can lead to bloating.
Don’t turn up at the studio in full makeup or fake tan, and with your hair pre-styled. Unless professionally applied, fake tan can look streaky and unnatural, and a camera will pick up on this. Also studio lighting demands a different style of makeup. Take advantage of your professional stylists and their knowledge of what works, not only under this specific lighting, but what is also easy to manipulate in post-production.
